Pam Murray and Peter Andresen have been operating Invisible Fence Brand of Annapolis Valley since 2004 and our area includes Hants, Kings, Annapolis and Digby Counties. Pam is the current president of Valley Women’s Business Network and an Eastern Kings chamber member. Peter is the Vice-President of the Windsor Breakfast Business Club and a director on the Eastern Kings Chamber of Commerce. |

| Both enjoy working with and promoting other valley businesses and the area. They especially enjoy operating their business in the beautiful Annapolis Valley and meeting new people.With these connections, they are huge advocates of Buy Local and Support Local Small Businesses campaigns. |

Over the past 6 years, during their travels up and down the valley, people have asked for recommendations for everything from dog trainers to cat boarding facilities. As we become aware of pet resources we try to share this information as much as possible. As a pet owner ourselves as well as suppliers of certain pet related items, we are always looking for interesting pet products. Most internet searches lead us to suppliers outside of the province and/or country and local searches are very limited. |

Pet Professionals
With that background we have decided to prepare the first (Annual) Happy Tails Pet Services Directory. We are striving to contact all pet services in the 4 counties to get a comprehensive directory of all local pet services. We have done internet and phone book searches, taken numbers from bulletin boards at vet offices and even contacted all of our clients to ask them for names of pet professionals that they use. We are sending out contact letters in the first week of March and will follow up with a personal contact. Please feel free to send us your contact information if you are interested in participating or if you know some pet professionals that we should contact. |

Animal Shelters and Rescues
We will also be contacting local shelters and rescues to give them an opportunity for some exposure in the pet directory. This would be a great way to let people know where they are and what upcoming fundraising events they may be planning. A definite win-win. |

Invisible Fence Brand Clients
We have contacted all of our clients to ask for pet photos and testimonials to be included in the pet directory. All of our happy clients love their pet and love the opportunity to show them off. And everyone loves looking at photos of cool pets.
We are hoping to have a show piece resource guide that people will hang onto and use as their guide book for anything “pets’ as well as promote local business. We are also incorporating all of this information into a dedicated website specifically designed to showcase all of the pet professionals in the directory. This can be used a link to your existing website or for those of you with no current website, this can be your first step into the digital world and all of this information will be searchable on the web. So no more sending potential clients to US websites. There will also be opportunities to have access to update your page over the year, so you can use this webpage as an ongoing updated resource.
